Obama's Disgraceful Shout-Out

The tragedy at Ft Hood is bad enough. The news is still breaking and I have not heard any real definitive reports. However, I could not agree more with this assessment of the President's response. It is breathtaking in its ineptness.

WTF!!!! Did you even watch the video?? There was nothing disgraceful or inappropriate about what the President said. This is outrageous that the far right ring just makes things up. He was at a native american conference. After thanking and acknowledging his hosts, he spoke at great length about the tragedy at Ft. Hood. Just unbelievable that someone would attempt to elevate this into another right ring outrage! Have you no shame?

Well, that's where you and I will never see eye to eye I guess. So would it have been appropriate for Bush to have taken 2 1/2 minutes to address other things before announcing the WTC had been attacked? Of course not!

I absolutely agree with you that once he actually got to the Ft Hood comments he was spot on. I thought he delivered a eloquent speech from that point on. What was completely inappropriate was the way he started the whole thing.

I guess I expect a little more sensitivity out of the POTUS.
