This article sums it up perfectly. All hope for Washington is lost. I have no idea whether or not the Republicans were abusing the deliberative process as is claimed or not. But let us assume they did for the sake of argument. This article clearly states that nothing has changed! The Democrats are doing the same thing they complained about.
