American Safety

In the past few weeks clashes in Tunisia and Egypt have broken out threatening to topple the regimes. But its not like we have our stuff figured out either. Especially the border.

State of the Union Reactions, 2011

More fluff, as usual and as expected, from the Commander in Chief. And, can someone please tell me why Paul Ryan is being villified when he wants to fix the two biggest government boondoggles in our history? Typical of our media.

And in your latest global warming news.

The Left Has Completely Lost It

Okay, I cannot let this situation with the AZ shooting rest because I just find it so absolutely pathetic how its being handled by the media and Democrats. They are so hypocritical and its so blatantly obvious that its astounding.

Let us do a little exercise. Let us compare the reaction to the recent shooting in AZ with the shooting at Ft. Hood. If you recall we were urged not to jump to any conclusions about the Ft. Hood gunman. He certainly did not represent Islam as a whole and was an extremist. We absolutely must not look at Islam in a bad light because of ONE bad apple.

So is that how the media approached this tragedy? Of course not!!! With the AZ shooter it appears the opposite is true. By all means, jump to any conclusion you want as long as its either: (1) Sarah Palin made him do it; (2) right-wing vitriol is responsible for this attack; or (3) he was possessed by extra-terrestial beings from the planet Alderaan seeking retribution for having their planet blown up by the Death Star.... because any of these are just as likely the truth. The evidence of Democrats politicizing a non-political act continue to mount, even when they admit their is no political connection:

Also, in my last post I linked to article where Eugene Robinson said all of the hate speech is coming solely from the right. Absolutely priceless when considering this:

Despicable Journalism

This entry is going to be my opportunity to vent a little steam over the absolutely shameless journalism that gets released these days. The recent tragedy in Tuscon has sparked an absolute torrent of political vitriol from both sides of the political spectrum, all for something that does NOT appear to be a political act.

Here's a news flash, maybe Jared Loughner was a freaking psychopath!!! But no, we are bombarded with stories about how he is either "a right-wing, anti-gov't, tea partier" or he was sent by Obama because "she didn't vote the party line." Seriously, that constitutes journalism today? It just makes me want to vomit. Take a look at some of these headlines in the snapshots below of how the so-called media are trying attach this guy to the tea-party:

Here are a few links to what the articles above are talking about:

Our Congress at work:

This is an interesting take on how President Obama is doing everything he railed against President Bush for doing.

Moonbat On the Loose

Nancy Pelosi has to be at best one of the dumbest people in the world, or at worst, completely dispicable. Take this as Exhibit A:

As we start the new year its nice to see that there is some sanity returning to Washington. Now let's not get carried away and say they have seen the light, I highly doubt that, but it is progress.

More Politics as Usual

The blatant disregard for the law of the land by this administration is just absolutely astounding. Not that I'm surprised. That and just the decisions made that are so anti free-market is remarkable. You'd think in the era where unemployment is the highest its been in 30 years we wouldn't continue to put obstacles in the way of working people. You'd think, but here you go:
